Online Patient Login
As a Greenbriar Primary Care patient, you can register online, maintain your own personal health record and contact our office for routine matters such as appointment scheduling, billing questions and other non-urgent questions.
Once you are registered, simply click the BLUE ARROW (at left) from any page of our web site to login.
Appointments
If you are sick or have an urgent concern, it is our goal to see you the day you call or the following day. We ask that new patients arrive 15 minutes early for their appointment to complete paper work. If you are unable to keep your appointment we ask that you call 24 hours in advance to reschedule.
We do not typically accept walk-in patients. However, we will do our best to work you in, with priority given to our scheduled patients.
We do our best to decrease waiting time and make every attempt to schedule patients so that we can see you in a timely manner. We will also do our best to communicate with you if there are delays.
Emergencies
Cases of severe trauma, severe bleeding, seizures, chest pain, etc. should be seen by an emergency room physician. Please call 911 or report to the nearest hospital emergency room immediately.
Routine Care
Depending on the type of appointment you require (regular follow-up, consultation, Pap smear, physical exam, etc.), you may be scheduled within two weeks to three months of your call. Please provide us with information about whether your insurance pays for well-patient visits or preventive care at time of service.
Medication
Please bring a list or actual bottles of medication you are taking with you to each visit. You should ask for refills, if needed, at each visit. No prescription refills are ordered on weekends, holidays, or after hours unless it is an emergency.
If you need refills between visits, it is most helpful if you contact your pharmacy. They will fax your request to us for approval.
Referrals
Our office will facilitate a referral to another healthcare provider when needed. Please allow 3 to 5 days to obtain a referral unless it is an emergency. Many insurance companies require that you be seen by a primary healthcare provider for an illness or condition prior to a referral.
Test Results
We prefer to discuss most test results with you in person during a follow-up visit. At times when this is not necessary, you will be notified of your test results by phone or by mail.
Fees & Insurance
One of the goals of our practice is to keep the cost of our medical care as low as possible. In order to do this we ask that you help us by...
- Paying co-pays, deductibles or uninsured full payments the day of the visit.
- Presenting your health insurance card at each visit and updating your records whenever a change occurs. If no changes occur, update annually.
As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance and assist in any way we can in getting benefits to which you are entitled. However, the ultimate responsibility for payment and providing accurate information about your particular policy remains with you.
If special financial arrangements need to be made, please contact our office as soon as possible.
Payment Methods
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card, cash and checks.
We welcome your thoughts and suggestions
